Silky Soft Fusible Backing is a thin, pliable stabilizer that adheres to the back of fabric before you stitch. (To fuse, just use a dry iron for about 20 seconds.)
Like our regular Fusible Backing, this stabilizer also adds body and prevents puckering!
Why Use Silky Soft Fusible Backing?
Silky Soft Fusible Backing is perfect for sheers, silks, and other lightweight fabrics. We also use it to cover uncomfortable seams.
For example, if you don't want an embroidered design to scratch and irritate a baby's skin, you can add a layer of Silky Soft Fusible Backing behind the design as a protective barrier.
