Portraits & Elements

Kimberbell Lace Studio: Holidays & Seasons is a collection of six lace portraits, each made of darling, smaller elements that can also be stitched on their own.

For example, you can take the little ornament from the Christmas Tree portrait, stitch it in holiday colors, and put it on a Christmas card, like this:

Lace card

Can you spy the ornament on both the card AND in the Christmas Tree?  Same design! 😀

You'll find little designs-within-the-design in each of the stunning lace portraits (a total of 50 elements in the collection). Fun, huh?

Each lace portrait comes in two sizes for 5x7 and larger hoops.  Let's explore some of the creative possibilities of Kimberbell Lace Studio!

Valentine Heart

Celebrate love with pennants, tossed violets, and a whole lot of heart! Kimberbell’s Valentine Heart  is the love story you’ll want to share for Valentine’s Day, weddings, anniversaries, and other cherished occasions.

You can stitch our Valentine Heart lace portrait in monochromatic whites and creams, like this:

...OR in a variety of colors for a bold and brilliant look, like this:

It's the same design and yet totally different. (Which do you like better?) Remember, you can stitch each little element as a separate design, too! 😍

Spring Watering Can

Kimberbell’s Spring Watering Can is filled with blossoms and buds, ladybugs and little birds to welcome spring! Here it is in whites and creams:

...and here it is in color!

Adorn your Spring Watering Can with a few perfectly placed beads and your Lace Portrait is the very “pitcher” of happiness! (Sometimes I just can't help myself...😉)

Summer Watermelon

Packed into one delicious slice of summer, Kimberbell’s Summer Watermelon features all the fun that summertime brings: ice cream, bike rides, sunglasses, flip-flops...

Here's a closer look at some of the smaller elements included in the design:

What would you stitch these summery designs on? A beach tote? A picnic basket? So many possibilities...

Halloween Hat

Along came a spider spinning webs into lace, creating a spooky-cute Halloween Hat filled with candy corn, Jack-o’-lanterns, and more!

Lace-Halloween

Wouldn't it be fun to turn those little spiders or candy corns into spook-tacular Halloween earrings? 🎃

Autumn Pumpkin

Adorned with a variety of leaves, vines, berries, and fall blossoms, the Autumn Pumpkin lace portrait brings a  little "pumpkin spice” to your decor.

I love these traditional harvest colors. But one of the beautiful things about machine embroidery is thinking outside the box! Here's the same Autumn Pumpkin design in a totally different color palette:

Notice how we embellished this wall hanging with some of the smaller elements from the design!

Christmas Tree

Trimmed with Christmas confections, snowflakes, and ornaments, the Christmas Tree lace portrait captures sweet memories and holiday traditions.

You saw the monochromatic version earlier. Here's the Christmas tree again, this time in festive color!

I really can't decide which color scheme I like better.
