Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday and I enjoy eating turkey and cranberries and candied yams as well as the next person. But for me, nothing beats a slice of warm pie topped with freshly whipped cream!
Oh, pie, how I love you. Yum, yum, yum.
And it's not just the pie itself, right? All growing up, the day before Thanksgiving was our family pie-baking day. I have the BEST memories of rolling out pie dough with my mother and sister, making what we called "crustos" with the scraps, and stirring fragrant huckleberry filling on the stove...

Fresh Ingredients
Just like prize-winning pies include the best of ingredients, our bench pillow is made of fresh and fabulous embellishments.
Take a look at this beautiful block, with Embroidery Leather giving glossy sheen to the eggs and darling dimension to rolled-up "cinnamon sticks!"
Lattice Crust
Our lattice crusts are woven with soft and pliable Embroidery Felt. Stitch the strips, then weave them over and under until your crust is complete!
Metal Pie Tins
Our scrumptious pies are baked on "metal" pie tins made of shiny silver Embroidery Leather. (How cool is that?! I mean, they look like real pie tins!)
So "Berry" Sweet
In addition to whole pies, the pillow also features a variety of applique slices served on beautiful china plates. Iron-on vinyl adds extra dazzle to this slice of razzleberry! (Please also note the darling background quilting, which we'll talk more about later...)
