Create Baskets, Bowls, & Beautiful Gifts on Your Embroidery Machine!
Well, friends, I've been in the machine embroidery world for a long time now and I'm still blown away by the many incredible things you can make. (There's just so much more than monogramming!)
I especially love projects that are functional and giftable like baskets, bowls, and bags. Let's take a look!
Baskets
Who doesn't love a good basket? We all need cute containers to hold our odds and ends and snacks and socks and goodness, so much more.
Here are some examples of three types of baskets you can make on your embroidery machine:
Easy-Peasy Quilted Baskets & Lemon Drop Quilted Basket
These darling baskets are made completely in-the-hoop! The large basket features pretty pillow knot corners, the small basket has boxed corners with buttons, and the lemon basket has sweet scalloped edges.
These baskets are part of Kimberbell Curated: Citrus & Sunshine. This collection came out a few years ago and will be showing up soon on Kimberbell.com! (Be watching for it!)
Loves Me Knot Basket
Our Loves Me Knot Basket never goes out of style (and it's perfect for many occasions)! Follow the step-by-step instructions to make the basket on your sewing machine and add optional background quilting on your embroidery machine to take it to a whole new level of delight!

Treats For My Boo Tote (Event Project)
Store candy and more in a Treats For My Boo Tote! This project is exclusive to Kimberbell's Treats For My Boo machine embroidery event. Stitch your boo-tiful design on the included Black Leather Tote, which folds up for easy storage and then transforms into a roomy basket!

Bowls
And now a word about bowls because rope bowls are all the rage right now. Although they look like they're hard to make, I'll let you in on a little secret . . .
They're not. They're actually pretty easy, especially with Kimberbell's detailed directions. Here are some of my favorites:
Happy Place Rope Bowl
This (stunning!) Happy Place Rope Bowl is made with an embroidery and sewing machine. Make the Shape Form base on your embroidery machine, coil and stitch soft Project Rope with your sewing machine, and finish with handles, knots, beads, leather tags, and more!
The Happy Place Rope Bowl is part of Kimberbell's Happy Place Embroidery Projects collection found HERE!
Strawberries & Lemons
Here's the Strawberries & Lemons bowl from that same collection. (I love it!) I should also mention that every bowl in Happy Place Embroidery Projects comes in two sizes for 5x7 and 8x8 hoops. From beautiful gifts to trendy decor, these bowls are cheerful projects in every way!

Our Floral Rope Bowl is exclusive to Kimberbell's Day at the Spa machine embroidery event. Stitch the bowl with two handles, then add a fabulous fabric strip and a stitched sprig of lavender! You'll make a small bowl at the event, then go home with a larger size to stitch later.
