Flower Block Alignment
Aligning the embroidery file with the bottom of the quilting file makes a huge difference. You'll want the stems sewn into the seam so the flower looks like it's growing out of the ground . . .and not hovering in the air.
Aligning the files this way also ensures that everything lines up beautifully in the final quilt. (When you go to sew all of your blocks together in December, you'll want everything to come together just right!)
Step-by-Step Instructions
So, how do you do this? Make sure to read ALL of the instructions before you stitch. This is the section you're looking for, marked with a ⚠️ symbol:
In other words, you'll need to use your machine to position the embroidery file right against the bottom of the quilted block. It only takes a few seconds, but this alignment will make all the difference in the final outcome.
