Rachel is a tester in Kimberbell's Product Development Lab. This means she stitches new designs, helps write instructions, and takes step-by-step photos of the process.
She loves the people she works with and how creative she gets to be at Kimberbell!
Rachel loves making noodles filled with dried bread, ham, and chives. After the noodles are filled, she cooks them in chicken broth. This is an Easter tradition that began with her great-great-grandmother!
Speaking of traditions, if Rachel could create a new holiday, she'd make a reading holiday where everyone would exchange books and spend the day reading. (Sounds fun to me! 😀)
Apart from reading, Rachel loves to sew, quilt, spend time in the garden, and participate in archery. She's been involved in archery for 18 years, including 3D archery in the mountains and Total Archery Challenges (TAC) that test her skills! She also shoots indoors during the winter months.
If Rachel could save any endangered animal, she would save tigers because they're incredible animals. We think Rachel's pretty incredible, herself! We're so glad she's here at Kimberbell.
Psssst! Kim interviewed Rachel about the Happy Place Embroidery Projects on the February 7th episode of What's New Wednesday HERE. Check it out! 😊
