Meet Amanda
As a technical writer and editor on Kimberbell's Product Development Team, Amanda gathers information from product owners, digitizers, and testers to write our project instructions. Her goal is to be clear and accurate so you have a good experience making Kimberbell projects!
Amanda also edits the instructions for content, structure, grammar, and mechanics. She enjoys organizing and writing, and she especially loves editing because it's satisfying to take complex information and present it in a way that is attractive, accurate, and simple to understand.
Fun Facts About Amanda
Amanda's three simple joys include soaking in hot springs (Hot water is a joy of life!), taking a nap on a sheepskin rug, and eating a hot bowl of Vietnamese pho. When she was young, Amanda never thought she'd be middle-aged but, as she says, "Here I am!"
In her free time, Amanda enjoys traveling the world (when she can afford it), doing yoga, reading fiction, watching K-dramas, going on hikes, and geocaching. She loves the advice from American businessman Dee Hock: "Simple, clear purpose and principles give rise to complex and intelligent behavior. Complex rules and regulations give rise to simple and stupid behavior."
