You’ve been asking for it . . .and we’re listening! We’re bringing back three favorites from Kimberbell’s (retired) Star-Spangled Celebration event.
This collection includes the Sweet Liberty Mug Rug, All American Celebration Tote design, and the America the Beautiful applique. You can stitch all of the projects in just a few short hours!
Star-Spangled Celebration was released back in 2018. But lucky me . . .I got to attend this event virtually before it retired! I've made all of the projects and they're SEW much fun. 😊
Please note that there will be NO kits available through Kimberbell for these projects. However, shops may be creating their own kits, so be sure to check with your favorite quilt shop to see what they're offering!
Let's take a look at each patriotic project.
Sweet Liberty Mug Rug
The Sweet Liberty Mug Rug features quilted star stitches and red and white stripes pieced right in-the-hoop! You can start and finish this whole project in about an hour. (It's great for patriotic picnics!)
Fun fact: The Sweet Land of Liberty Mug Rug was the first mug rug I ever made. (It's certainly not the last!)
All American Celebration Tote Design
Now remember, your Kimberbell Classic purchase includes embroidery files and instructions only, so you will not be getting a tote like this. But you can stitch this design on pretty much anything!
You can use vinyl for the bottles or even just fabric. Add a button for a fun pop!
America the Beautiful Applique
This simple America the Beautiful applique stitches in mere minutes. Add it to blank tea towels for quick and easy decor, or stitch on placemats or napkins or wherever you'd like to make freedom ring!
