Kimberbell Day is Coming Soon!

It's official! The last Saturday of July has been nationally registered as Kimberbell Day! And we're hosting a  worldwide celebration you definitely won't want to miss. 🎉

Please join us on Saturday, July 29th, 2023 for our online Kimberbell Day party. And oh, what a party it will be with epic giveaways, sneak peeks, tips & tricks, a FREE background quilting design, and so much more!

Yep...there's nothing like gathering with a few thousand friends who love machine embroidery!

We'd love to have YOU there, along with anyone you can think of who would enjoy a fun day.  Everyone welcome! Share and invite! This is a perfect chance to show friends what machine embroidery is all about.

Don't Miss Our Live Event

The online celebration begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time on July 29, 2023. You can tune in from home OR (even better) join your favorite quilt shop and participate in their specific Kimberbell Day festivities.

Please note that this live event will NOT be recorded, so you’ll want to register and take an active part in the giveaways and all the fun! Our team has been working hard to throw a party you'll never forget. 😀

Let's go over the schedule for Kimberbell Day so you'll understand exactly what's happening when. Then I'll walk you through reserving your spot and what you need to do before the big day!

Kimberbell Day: Morning Session

There are two parts to Kimberbell day: the morning session and the afternoon session.  As I mentioned before, the party begins at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time and the more the merrier!

During the morning session, you'll meet the Kimberbell team, watch a Clear Blue Tiles® demonstration, receive a FREE background quilting design, learn how to make the Confetti Table Topper project (below), and enjoy several sneak peeks.

Oh, and there will be AMAZING GIVEAWAYS, too! Anyone want to win a brand-new embroidery machine? Yep, I said embroidery machine. 😊 (Watch our social channels for more details!)

Trust me...you've never seen a machine embroidery celebration like this.

Free Background Quilting Design

As I mentioned above, everyone who registers to attend Kimberbell Day will receive this FREE cupcake background quilting design. 

Don't you love the cupcakes and swirls and hearts? All yours, for free, just for registering.

This free design will automatically be added to your Digital Library on Kimberbell Day. (Your Digital Library is part of your Kimberbell.com account, which I'll talk more about below!) 

Confetti Table Topper

Kim Christopherson will then demonstrate how to use this background quilting design and a variety of fabric scraps to make a darling Confetti Table Topper project!

Please note that this isn't a "regular" Kimberbell project with a CD and full-color instructions, so be sure to tune in so you can learn how to make it! 😉

After the Confetti Table Topper demo, you'll be given a half hour lunch break. But eat quickly...the party resumes at 12:00 noon and you won't want to miss a thing!

Kimberbell Day: Afternoon Session

We'll kick the afternoon session off with a tour of Kimberbell headquarters. (We can't wait to show you where the magic happens!) This tour will be followed by two more event sneak peeks with Ginger and Deanna.

It's so much fun to see what's coming on the Kimberbell horizon! After the sneak peeks, we'll move to the project-making part of the day.

Flyaway Bats Pillow

Those who have purchased the Home Sweet Haunted Home Attendee Project Kit from their quilt shop will then stitch the Flyaway Bats Pillow project along with Kim (shown below). 

To purchase an Attendee Project Kit, please contact your quilt shop.  (BTW, the kit includes materials and instructions for all of the event projects, not just the pillow. You can look forward to stitching those later.)

Again, if you don't want to make the pillow, that's totally fine. You're very welcome to continue watching, learning, and enjoying the camaraderie and fun!

More Giveaways

After the Flyaway Bats Pillow is finished, you'll then join Ginger in the Kimberbell warehouse for our Supermarket Sweep giveaway. It'll be crazy and super and so much fun! 🎉

I think the Supermarket Sweep is the part I'm looking forward to most...it's gonna be a riot!

Winter Cardinal Ornament

After all the fun in the warehouse, Kim will then stitch the Winter Cardinal Ornament from our Winter Wonderland event.

Again, if you want to make the project you'll need to contact your favorite quilt shop for an Attendee Project Kit! This kit also includes the materials and instructions for all of the event projects.

Remember, it's certainly worth watching to learn the techniques and be part of the fun, even if you don't make this project. 😀

And that, my friends, is what you can expect from Kimberbell Day! Now, let's work on reserving your spot.

How to Register

Though Kimberbell Day is absolutely free to watch, you'll still need to register so you can receive the Zoom link and enter the party.  Think of registration as signing up for your personal ticket—it's how you get in.

It's very easy to register. First, click the orange button (below), which takes you to the Eventbrite registration site. (Eventbrite is a ticketing platform that's helping us keep track of our registrations.)

From this site, click Reserve a Spot on the right side of your screen.

Now fill in your name and email address. We need this information so we can send you the Zoom link! Please use the same email address that's in your Kimberbell.com account. (If you don't have a Kimberbell account, we'll talk about that in a minute.)

After registering with Eventbrite, you should automatically receive a verification email letting you know you've successfully registered.

It's very important that you receive this Eventbrite verification, so please check your inbox for that email! (If you don't see it, go hunting in your spam folder or check to see if you entered the wrong email address.) 

Kimberbell.com Account

If you don't have an account with Kimberbell, you'll need to set one up. Again, this is free and easy to do! First, go back to Kimberbell.com and click Login in the top right corner of the homepage. 

Next, click Create a New Account. 

Now add your information and click Apply. We'll send you an email to verify your account. With your Eventbrite registration and a Kimberbell account, you're now ready to join the fun and receive that free background quilting design!

Between now and July 29th, here's what you'll need to do to get ready (the sooner the better):

• Register for Kimberbell Day through Eventbrite HERE.
• Set up a Kimberbell.com account so we can give you the free design.
• Contact your favorite quilt shop to ask about their fun plans.
• Purchase the exclusive Kimberbell Day T-shirt HERE (if desired). 
• If you want to stitch the two event projects, purchase Attendee Project Kits through your shop.
• Look forward to the big day and join us on July 29th, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time.
