With their wonderfully skinny size, ladder quilts are a delight to display in many areas of your home. Here are five of our favorite ideas!
Ladder quilts are (of course) stunning when displayed on ladders. When hanging a Kimberbell ladder quilt such as Quilting Through the Seasons or Pumpkins & Potions, look for a ladder that's at least 20" wide.
Tip: Keep your overall decor in mind. For example, if you have rustic decor, a wooden ladder would be a good choice as opposed to a sleek, modern ladder. Ladders are easy to find online!
The landing at the top or the bottom of stairs is a perfect spot for a ladder quilt. (It's just the right size!) Here's the Pumpkins & Potions Ladder Quilt shown on a stairway landing!
Tip: It's extra fun to put other decor next to the quilt! Remember to use different heights and groups of three.
Ladder quilts display beautifully on doors, too. You can hang a rod, as shown below, or get a wreath hanger and change the height to fit your space.
Tip: You can use two ribbon loops, as shown above, or even make one big loop with a bow!
Here's another spot that's usually tough to decorate . . .a small, angled wall. This ladder quilt is just right for a space like this!
Tip: You could also put a small shelf with a rod above the quilt and hang the quilt from the rod!
You can get really creative with your display, too. For example, we hung this Pumpkins & Potions Ladder Quilt from a big spooky branch and even made extra lace bats to fly off of the quilt and onto the wall!
Tip: When choosing other decor to accent your quilt, use a variety of textures!

I hope this post has given you some ideas. After all, you've made the quilt . . . show it off with pride! How you display your ladder quilt is just another way to Experience the Joy of Creativity.®
