This year’s Collectible Christmas series is Return to Bethlehem, a stunning Nativity display. And, although it's already January (and this collection technically started last November), it's not too late to join the fun!
Let's take a close look at each month's project, including the beautiful (and I must say highly innovative) techniques!
Pastoral Panel
Kick off your Nativity display with our Pastoral Panel! Included is a preprinted panel, a darling stand, and all fabrics, embellishments, batting, and full-color instructions needed to complete the project.
Shepherds
Begin stitching the beloved characters of your Return to Bethlehem scene! Create three shepherds with curated fabrics and soft Embroidery Felt, then connect them as a tri-fold with our special technique.
Also included in this month’s delivery are two resin sheep!
Potter's Shed
Continue building your scene with a Potter’s Shed! This delightful 3D structure features a cork roof, exquisite rock detail, an assortment of stitched pots, and an applique awning with metallic gold fringe.
Also included is a spool of gold metallic thread and a terra cotta pot!
Far East Panel
Add another beautiful backdrop with a Far East Panel! Included in this month’s delivery is a preprinted panel, a panel stand, fabric, embellishments, batting, and special quilting for the ground and sky.
This month’s delivery includes the second of the three panel stands you’ll receive throughout the year!
Far East Tri-Fold
Stitch three exotic buildings for a Far East Tri-Fold! Shahbaz, Public House, and Talar buildings feature rich fabrics and decorative stitching. Your delivery includes metallic faux grasscloth and tiny dowels for hinges!
Also included are palm trees in two sizes!
Tyre House
Add another dimensional element with a Tyre House! Made of Shape Form Interfacing, this charming house features decorative stitching, soft Embroidery Leather, and a chiffon window.
Also included in this month’s delivery is a terra cotta pot!
Magi
Create three Magi with gifts from afar! Lush microvelvet, shimmery Mylar, and gold metallic thread add a touch of elegance, while a fringed saddle blanket is a dimensional pop!
Make your tri-fold with our in-the-hoop hinge technique. Also included in this month’s delivery is another palm tree accessory!
Qalat
Build a beautiful Qalat building from Shape Form Interfacing and a lovely Persian print! The rounded door and applique steps are flanked by two chiffon windows on each side, while a golden metallic sun adds shiny decor.
You'll get another palm tree this month, too!
Bethlehem Panel
The Bethlehem Panel includes fabric, embellishments, batting, full-color instructions, and your third and final panel stand. Cork and shimmer leather add touchable texture to the buildings!
This month’s delivery includes the last panel stand received throughout the year!
Merchant's Home
Add another dimensional building to your display with a Merchant’s Home! Stitch the tiled roof, two pretty pots, and detailed flowers to adorn the chiffon window. This month’s delivery includes lovely neutral fabrics!
Also included is a palm tree and terra cotta pot!
Bethlehem Tri-Fold
Stitch four buildings for a Bethlehem Tri-Fold! The Inn, Mazon, House of David, and Tax House feature warm, earthy fabrics and decorative stitching for rocks and more.
Your delivery includes cork, shimmer leather, and tiny dowels for hinges. Also included is a donkey figurine!
Stable
Complete your Return to Bethlehem display with the Stable as the crowning jewel! Create the structure with Shape Form Interfacing, cork walls, sheer chiffon, and a shining star.
Your Completed Scene
At the end of the year (and just in time for the holidays) you'll have a completed Nativity set that's sure to be a family treasure for years to come.
